Biography

Huiqi Guan is a PhD candidate in the Department of Management, majoring in operations management. His primary research interest is in supply chain management, especially issues interfacing with marketing, economics, and information systems. Guan has one publication in Management Science, and one submitted manuscript with a conditional acceptance at Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. He received the Outstanding PhD Student Award in 2017 from the University of Miami School of Business Administration. Guan received his BS and MS from Tsinghua University in China.

Research Interests

Distribution supply-chain design; Supply chain contracting; Interface issues with marketing and information economics; Sharing economy; Econometric models in supply chain management
