Mentor Program

The School of Business Administration Mentor Program partners juniors and seniors one-on-one with local professionals for career preparation assistance. Mentors and their protégés meet regularly throughout the academic year to discuss everything from study habits to career choices.

If you participate in the Mentor Program, you can:

  • Enhance your collegiate experience by working closely with a business executives
  • Develop a professional network and other important relationships with individuals in the business community, which would typically take years to cultivate.
  • Learn valuable information about your industry and career of choice from your mentor.
  • Participate in events and roundtable discussions.

Enhancing the Undergraduate Experience

As a mentee you will receive advice and support on maintaining a strong work ethic, cultivating a professional attitude, honing effective time management and leveraging other successful work habits. You will also better prepare for job interviews with advice, tips and techniques shared with you by your mentor. Mentors encourage students to watch them in action, teach them how to get the job done and acquaint students with their colleagues and their professional organizations.
