The Career Alumni Network (C.A.N.) links students and graduates with UM Business School alumni willing to share their expertise and provide career guidance. The goal of C.A.N. is to provide opportunities for networking and informational interviews. For more information contact:

C.A.N. works in this way:

The C.A.N. database exists on Jobtrak. Users search the database by industry, major, state or country. They then contact their selected C.A.N. volunteers for telephone or (in some cases) face-to-face informational interviews.

Career Alumni Network Volunteers:

• describe their jobs and how they got there
• share information on the job market in their region
• offer career advice
• provide networking contacts if they know of any.

Career Alumni Network does not provide:

•     a guarantee of a job or internship
•     résumé critique
•     a complete listing of alumni in an occupation or city
