Alumni Engagement Activities
With more than 40,000 alumni in the country and worldwide, the University of Miami School of Business has one of the largest alumni networks of any business school.
Corporate partners gain access to alumni by assisting with local, national and international engagement activities and by taking advantage of exclusive naming opportunities for annual alumni engagement events and programs such as exclusive alumni guest lectures and other speaking engagements, alumni luncheons and networking events, and Mentor Program activities.
University of Miami Global Business Forum
This biennial event draws hundreds of attendees including some of the world's most prominent business and government leaders for two-days of discussion on leading business issues.
The 2009 Forum featured such industry titans as Muhtar Kent, the president and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, Arun Sarin, the former CEO of the Vodafone Group, Jim Skinner, the vice chairman and CEO of McDonald’s Corporation, and Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric Company.
The 2011 Forum focused on "the business of health care" and will be headlined by business and government leaders including Kathleen Sebelius, the U.S. secretary of health and human services, Jeffrey R. Immelt, the chairman and CEO of General Electric, William A. Hawkins, the chairman and CEO of Medtronic Inc., Thomas M.
