Student teams work with local nonprofit organizations on projects focused on such activities as branding, social entrepreneurship, and business plan development. The 15-week course offers students a real opportunity to give back to the community by using the skills and know-how learned in the classroom to solve the many business challenges nonprofit organizations face. Students also come face-to-face with each organization’s role in the community to learn how they balance their social, economic and political needs while building ethical business practices.
In addition to the project work, students attend lectures, analyze case studies, and develop multi-media presentations on ethics and ethical decision-making in the business environment. Learn more on the Undergraduate Programs Web site.
