The mission of the Office of External Affairs is to build enduring relationships that promote advocacy and financial support for the University of Miami School of Business Administration.

The office advances the School’s mission of teaching, research and engagement of its constituents through a strategic communications and development program. The common goal is to connect the School’s advisory boards, faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends through strategies and programs designed to build long-term relationships and support for the School.

The office is led by Amelia Rea Maguire, JD, the associate dean of external affairs, who manages a senior professional team representing the following departments and programs:
