Undergraduate Business Major
The School of Business offers an undergraduate real estate major designed for students who want to apply theoretical and analytical concepts to real estate lending, investment and development. The program builds on real estate development and new urbanism concepts, while maintaining a strong emphasis on quantitative methods in finance. Courses are offered in such areas as investment and security markets, fixed income markets and analysis, real estate investment and appraisal, real estate finance, real estate law, real estate development and new urbanism. The School, in partnership with the University’s School of Architecture – an international leader in livable community design that has been ranked No. 1 in the nation by New Urban News – offers a joint Bachelor of Architecture/MBA program. This program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Architecture as well as a Master of Business Administration.
