Undergraduate Major in Health Sector Management and Policy

The undergraduate major in health sector management and policy is designed to prepare students for careers in health management and policy, in a variety of health care organizations and public settings, as well as to pursue post graduate educational opportunities in health administration, health economics, medical sociology, and public health.

The major enables students to gain skills and understanding in the specialized language, financing and politics of the health care system and to gain a competitive edge for launching their careers.  Learn more.

Undergraduate Minor in Health Sector Management and Policy

The undergraduate minor in health sector management and policy is designed to provide students interested in health care careers with a basic understanding of the management, economics, and financial structure of the health care industry.

The minor requires four classes including Introduction to Health Sector Administration, Health Economics, Health Care Law and Ethics, and U.S. Health Care Crisis: Politics and Policies. Learn more.
