This academy provides an opportunity for scholars worldwide who interested in superior and sustainable services to come together and exchange ideas about how their areas of expertise impact global competitiveness.

International Services Consortium

This consortium promotes and facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration between international service scholars and their centers via a Web-based International Services Research Network and an annual International Services Colloquium. All UM CIBER constituents are invited to join and work with the field’s distinguished foreign scholars from Europe and Asia.

Program Partnerships with other CIBERs

The UM CIBER partners with other CIBERs across the country to co-sponsor programs and conferences and supports at least one faculty member per event from the University of Miami, Miami-Dade College or Xavier University of Louisiana.

Faculty Development in International Business:

Mercosur - May 12 - 22, 2012

The UM CIBER co-sponsors a two-week study trip for college faculty nationwide, organized by FIU's CIBER. Participants will visit Brazil, Argentina and Chile.

Middle East

The UM CIBER sponsors a two-week study trip for college faculty nationwide, placing emphasis on technological and service improvements for energy and water resources. Participants will visit Cyprus, Egypt, and Israel. Begins 2012.
