Global Business Forum Continuing Series

The Global Business Forum Continuing Series follows the inaugural University of Miami Global Business Forum held in January 2009. The Continuing Series brings together leading CEOs and other business leaders for discussions on global business and other issues throughout the year.

As part of the Continuing Series, the School of Business hosted a discussion with Jeffrey Immelt, the chairman and CEO of General Electric, John Chambers, the chairman and CEO of Cisco, and Lew Hay, the chairman and CEO of FPL Group, in April 2009.

The April discussion, moderated by UM President Donna E. Shalala, provided an opportunity for students to ask questions of the business leaders on a wide range of topics ranging from alternative energy to the economic crisis.
