Blackberry Service
Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) allows Blackberry handhelds to synchronize wirelessly using your cellular provider's data service. BES is fully integrated with the School of Business Administration Exchange e-mail service. Blackberry devices using BES have real-time access to e-mail, calendar, contacts and task lists. There is no need to sync the Blackberry with a cradle attached to your computer and no need to have a desktop application running to re-direct your e-mail/calendar information.
Setting up a Blackberry
To obtain BlackBerry Services from the School of Business Administration you must have your own BlackBerry Handled with the Enterprise Data plan available. The School of Business currently provides Blackberry Services to Faculty and Staff members.
In order to have your handheld configured with the School of Business Administration, please contact the Systems Administrator or the School of Business Service Desk @ 305-284-1771.
