Accounting students from the School won an Honorable Mention Award in the 2016 Deloitte FanTAXtic Regional Competition.
The School’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, an honor organization for financial information students and professionals, has earned international recognition as a Superior Chapter.
The School of Business has named Arun Sharma, a professor of marketing, as interim vice dean for graduate business programs and executive education.
Nearly 260 graduate and undergraduate students celebrated their graduation from the School of Business December 17. The graduates included 21 members of the School’s first class in the new Miami Executive MBA for the America’s program.
The best among the School’s MBA classes of 2015, along with their favorite professors, have been honored as part of an annual MBA awards program. Awards were presented to outstanding faculty and the top graduates in the Full-Time MBA, Professional MBA, and Executive MBA programs.
Professor Lance Fortnow of Georgia Institute of Technology will explore a new direction bringing the rich tools of computational complexity into economic models, a tricky prospect where even basic concepts like "input size" are not well defined.
