Concentration in CIS
Computer Information Systems
The dependence of organizations on technology has created a demand for individuals who understand such systems and who can apply them in the corporate environment. Accordingly, the concentration in Computer Information Systems is intended to prepare the “Techno” MBA for a career that balances their managerial skills with an understanding of technology, its implementation, and use as an analysis tool in an enterprise context.
Four courses are required for a CIS concentration:
CIS 612 Enterprise Technologies
CIS 613 Business Intelligence Technologies
CIS 617 Information Technology Project Management
CIS 689 Entrepreneurship: Launching a High-Tech Venture
