
Student Demographics
There is a rich blend of experience and abilities in the University of Miami's Working Professionals MBA Program. Students come from all areas of the South Florida business community, including accounting, telecommunications, transportation, health care, banking, sales, marketing and manufacturing. The program attracts doctors, engineers, technicians, administrators, sales professionals, lawyers, architects and accountants, among others. Generally, students in the Working Professionals MBA Program have an average of 5 years of professional experience.
All students hold a baccalaureate degree, although not necessarily in a business discipline. Some students already hold advanced degrees in other areas. Overall, these students are willing to work toward their personal goals and possess the determination and dedication to commit to a challenging program of study. They are team players who benefit from the relationships they develop with their classmates and see the program as a means to enrich their work experience with formal education.
