Marketing Professor Presents at Leading Marketing Conferences in Europe
A. “Parsu” Parasuraman, holder of the James W. McLamore Chair in Marketing, professor and department chair of marketing, delivered a keynote address titled “Service Excellence: Conventional Beliefs vs. Research-Based Insights” at the 2nd International Hospitality & Tourism Conference, held September 2 – 4 in Penang, Malaysia.
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the largest public university in Malaysia, hosted the conference, and this year’s theme focused on “Theory & Practice in Hospitality and Tourism Research”. The conference included a broad range of topics related to education, industry and research in hospitality and tourism.
Parasuraman was also reappointed to a two-year term as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at UiTM in the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management.
