The Judi Prokop Newman Information Resource Center at the UM School of Business is open on the following schedule:

Hours of Operation

Saturday, April 28 to Wednesday, May 9th, 2012:
Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Summer Hours

Thursday, May 10th to Sunday, August 19th, 2012:
Monday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, CLOSED 

Services

The services offered at the Judi Prokop Newman Information Resource Center include reference, guest lecturing and business research workshops.

Reference Service

Assistance with business reference questions, research strategy, or database search techniques can be obtained in-person or by phone. Individual consultations to provide technical guidance with research projects can be arranged by calling 305-284-6516 or emailing sbairc@exchange.sba.miami.edu.

Guest Lecturing

The business librarian is available to appear as a guest lecturer for any School of Business course. The lecture, customized to the course's research project(s), will focus on identifying, using, and evaluating information sources. Business Research Workshops

One-hour business research workshops, which provide an overview of available online sources and database search techniques, are held throughout the semester. For a listing of workshop sessions visit the Research Workshops section of the Center's website.
