Biography

Kyungmin (Teddy) Kim is an associate professor of economics at the University of Miami. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Before joining UM, he had worked at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and at the University of Iowa. He is an economic theorist, mainly working in the areas of information economics, bargaining theory, and search theory. He has published in several prestigious journals, such as Econometrica, Review of Financial Studies, Theoretical Economics, RAND Journal of Economics, and American Economic Journal: Microeconomics. He was a recipient of the Korea American Economic Association Young Scholar award in 2016 and has served on the editorial board of Economic Theory since 2015.
