BUSINESS SCRUBS
Our mission is to conduct entertaining programs that educate pre-health students on business topics relating to the medical world by improving students’ efficiency and management skills.
Business Scrubs’ goal is to produce strong, intellectual leaders for our future healthcare industry.
The Business Scrubs Program is made up of a variety of engaging workshop evenings, led by excelling University of Miami Pre-Health students with Business majors. Each workshop will include lessons and activities on important business issues related to the health-care world. We are always open to suggestions from our members for new workshop themes.
CANES INVESTING ASSOCIATION
The purpose of the Canes Investing Association is to provide undergraduate students with a broad knowledge base in the area of investing. Additionally, Canes Investing Association will help to prepare students for careers in finance by giving them exposure to professionals that deal with investments on a day-to-day basis. The objectives of the Canes Investing Association shall be to hear members of different financial institutions speak of their experiences in investing. Canes Investing Association shall also hold career-focused events for its members.
DELTA EPSILON CHI
DEX is an international organization for college students preparing for careers in marketing, merchandising, management, entrepreneurship, advertising, sales, hospitality, culinary arts, criminal justice and other business and marketing related areas.
DELTA SIGMA PI

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB
This club is open to all students interested in sharing ideas and exploring the world of business ownership. Local entrepreneurs serve as guest speakers and resources to the organization.
ETHICS SOCIETY
The University of Miami Ethics Society has a decade-long track record in stimulating discussion and debate into the ethical implications of our academic, professional and social environments. We endeavor to spread understanding of ethics and critical thinking throughout society – in law, medicine, politics, business, information technology and other fields. We will delve into these issues through special programs and presentations, panel discussions and collaborations with other groups. The Ethics Debate unit of the Ethics Society allows students to augment their studies of the discipline through discussion and argument in a competitive setting. In addition to training members for two University-wide competitions during the year, Ethics Debate also fields teams for the Southeast Regional and National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
FMA is a global leader in developing and disseminating knowledge about financial decision making. The mission of the FMA is to broaden the common interests between academicians and practitioners, provide opportunities for professional interaction between and among academicians, practitioners and students, promote the development and understanding of basic and applied research and of sound financial practices, and to enhance the quality of education in finance. FMA annual finance conferences at which advances in theoretical and empirical research come together with the current issues and concerns of practicing finance professionals are taught, critiqued, and discussed; and brings together the professionals who share a common interest in finance.
HYPERION COUNCIL
The mission of the Hyperion Council is to recognize the superior qualities and achievements of leaders from the School of Business at the University of Miami. Embracing the values of integrity, resilience, fortitude, excellence and initiative, each Titan strives to enhance his/her surrounding community through generosity and innovation. Bound by a shared commitment to scholarship and commerce, the Hyperion Council strengthens fellowship between the university and the business communities. The Hyperion Council will flourish through the continuing contributions of its members with the goal of building a legacy that will exemplify the standards of uncompromising excellence.
MANAGEMENT SCIENCE CLUB
The Management Science Academic Society's purpose is to promote the field of management science, operations research and quality control techniques throughout all departments and students. MSAS will provide students with the opportunity to interface with and be mentored by alumni and faculty.
PEER COUNSELING
Peer Counselors assist freshmen in the Business School with their adjustment to UM college life. Any student with a 3.0 GPA, who has completed 15 credits, and who wants to be a positive role model, is encouraged to become a Peer Counselor.
PHI ALPHA DELTA
