Biography

Seungju Choi earned a Bachelors of Business Administration and Chinese Language & Literature (double major), and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Ewha Womans University. After graduating in 2017, Seungju worked as a research analyst for the Samsung Economic Research Institute.

Seungju joined the doctoral program of Miami Herbert Business School in August 2020 with a concentration in Accounting. Her research interests focus mainly on the archival capital market, disclosure, internal control, and corporate governance. She is also interested in textual analysis in accounting research.

Outside of accounting, Seungju loves Pilates, Yoga, and traveling. She also has a great interest in health.
