Carina Cuculiza

PhD Candidate, Finance


Carina Cuculiza is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Miami. She earned an MS in finance and a BSBA in finance and marketing from the University of Miami. She is interested in household finance, empirical asset pricing, and behavioral finance. Outside of academia, Cuculiza enjoys playing golf. During her undergraduate career, she was a member and team captain of the UM women’s golf team. Cuculiza is also an active member of the Nicaraguan national golf team, for whom she has competed and won several international golf tournaments.
