Biography

Swathi Murali is an incoming Ph.D. student at the Miami Herbert Business School with interests in behavioral finance and household finance. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, she earned a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Miami in 2020, a Master of Professional Studies in Forensic Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2018, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Apart from research and teaching, Swathi enjoys kickboxing and badminton. She is a strong believer in equal access to education and has actively worked with non-profit organizations such as Dubai Cares and Olcott Memorial School.
