Biography

Claudio Rizzi is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Miami. His research focuses on the interdisciplinary connection between environmental sustainability, climate change, and finance, as well as political and behavioral finance.
Through his research, Claudio strives to contribute to the fight against climate change and tries to investigate the risks that this emergency entails for the financial markets and the macro-economy.

His studies preceding the University of Miami include a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Finance at the Florida State Univerisity.

When he is not working on research, Claudio enjoys playing sports (soccer, beach volleyball, and tennis) and traveling.

Research Interests

Climate Finance, environmental sustainability, ESG, political finance, and behavioral finance.
