Delaram Heydarian is a first year Ph.D. candidate in Management Science at the University of Miami. Before joining the Miami Herbert Business School, Delaram earned her Master of Science in Industrial and System Engineering from University of Tehran and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. During her masters, her thesis, Location Optimization of Bioethanol Plants (Corn-based) in Iran by a Unique Hybrid DEA-ANN Algorithm was well appreciated by the experts in this area. Now, her primary research interest lies in Decision Making under Uncertainty, Multi-Criteria Optimization, Stochastic Process, Resilience Engineering, and Discrete-event Simulation.
