The Graduate Admissions Committee welcomes applications from individuals with undergraduate degrees in business and non-business careers from accredited colleges or universities. Acceptance is based upon an evaluation of all credentials presented by the applicant. Applications are accepted on a rolling admission basis.
Candidacy for the Miami Herbert Business School Executive MBA for Health Sector Management and Policy program is based on an evaluation of academic and professional preparation as well as significant accomplishments and experiences. Professionally, the applicant should demonstrate an aptitude for career advancement and leadership. Regardless of the stage an applicant may be in, we measure career potential through increased workplace responsibility, demonstrated managerial skills, recommendations and assessment of the nomination. Admission to the Professional MBA Program does not guarantee that a seat is available. Once admitted, an applicant must submit a non-refundable $2,200 Enrollment Fee required by the Graduate Business Programs Office in order to reserve their seat within a cohort. Once a given cohort reaches capacity, the Admissions Committee compiles a waitlist of qualified candidates. Candidates are notified when their status changes.
Complete your application through BusinessCAS. Select the Health Executive MBA program as a designated program. A $48 nonrefundable Application Fee is required in order to submit your application. Be sure you use the same email address for every part of the application process, including registering for standardized tests.

Current resume – Should include work and volunteer activities, licensures and other certifications, awards, professional organizations, and academic experiences.
SUBMIT OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT(S) – A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required for graduate enrollment.
Within the online application, enter email addresses for at least two (2), or up to three (3), recommenders. After an application has been submitted, an email will be sent directly to the email provided requesting they complete the recommendation form.
SUBMIT PROOF OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY FOR NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER - Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proof of English proficiency before gaining admission to a graduate program.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): The TOEFL must be taken within the two calendar years prior to submission date in order to count towards admission. A minimum score of 94 is required. Use the following TOEFL Code for University of Miami: 5815.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): The IELTS must be taken within the two calendar years prior to submission date in order to count towards admission. A minimum score of 7.0 is required. Use the following TOEFL Code for University of Miami: 4861.
