Accelerated MBA

The One Year Full Time MBA programs at the University of Miami Business School are an innovative, flexible, and career focused option for those looking add a valuable dimension to their education. Open to those who have already earned an undergraduate degree in business from an accredited university (degrees obtained outside the U.S. will be reviewed case-by-case), the programs are all 35-credit and are completed in one year.

The University of Miami is a CFA-affiliated school and the curriculum helps prepare students to pursue the CFA and CFP designations, Bloomberg certification, and securities licenses.

The Accelerated MBA is a 35-credit cohort program.



The program is composed of 20 courses, including elective options.

Schedule and Curriculum


The 35-credit Accelerated MBA program is completed in less than one year. The two-semester, 28-week program is “lock-step,” and students progress together through a sequential pattern of 20 courses – including the selection of electives. Each semester has two seven-week terms, and students take between four and six courses each term (courses may be one-credit or two-credit).
