Meet the Academic Director

Robert Plant headshot

Robert Plant is a tenured Associate Professor of Business Technology at the Miami Business School. His research interests are centered on the future of technology and the role of information systems in strategic management. He is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed articles in the area of technology for outlets such as Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Sloan Management Review, and Harvard Business Review He obtained his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at The University of Liverpool, England, previously having previously studied computation at Wadham College, Oxford University. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Chartered Engineer and European Engineer.
