University of Miami School of Law Pre-Law Handbook
LSAT - Law School Admission Test
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Student Support Services offers services to assist you in applying to law school. These services complement the academic advising you receive in the department of your major or advising office.
Selecting a law school must be a well thought-out and researched decision. In selecting a law school, students should examine their individual priorities and consider the following factors: Where can I get in? How much will it cost? What is the location? What is the size? What is the reputation of the law school? What special programs are offered? What joint degree programs are offered? What are the job opportunities when I graduate? These, along with a host of other considerations, are important factors that will ultimately determine which law school you will attend.
For help in answering the above questions, please consult the on-line Pre-Law Handbook. Confidential advising appointments are available by calling the 284-4641 for all Miami Herbert Business School students. Please be sure to register with our office so we can keep you informed of upcoming events. The Pre-Law advising office will sponsor many informational events throughout the year.
