This course enables students to become competent, after one year of training, to conduct business in Portuguese.
Join the School as we kick off the University's International Week with Focus On! The evening focuses on discussions on the current entrepreneurial environment in the country of choice and guests will get the chance to experience the culture and cuisine of that country.
This program is offered by the Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami. DILS is a free program open to all undergraduate and graduate students who want to become proficient in a language and culture they otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to learn, and that is not offered by the curriculum at UM.
