Prior to joining academics, Dr. Chatterjee worked in the automotive industry spanning the globe as an electrical engineer and consultant. He was one of the members of the product launch team that built the first Chinese modern automotive plant for Shanghai General Motors. He has taught in universities in North America, Asia, and Europe. His teaching brings in global manufacturing and supply chain expertise, project valuation and management skill sets, and finance to the classroom. His research works have been published in leading journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance and Journal of Financial Stability. Dr. Chatterjee is a member of the Financial Management Association.
