Larissa Ramos, Lecturer, is a tri-lingual Higher Education and nonprofit leader with more than seven years of full-time university teaching experience. Recently, Ms. Ramos developed and taught an Advanced Professional Skills course at George Mason University's School of Business. Previously, she taught professional writing and business communication at UM and FIU. In the nonprofit space, Ms. Ramos served as the founding director of The Posse Foundation in Miami (Posse Miami) and as Director of External Affairs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. As part of her graduate school internships, Ms. Ramos worked as a Summer Sr. Consultant at Deloitte Consulting where she was placed in a Cross-Consulting group within the Human Capital portfolio, focused on Organizational Transformation, as well as a Summer Research Associate at Heidrick & Struggles (Latin America headquarters), an executive recruitment and consulting firm. Ms. Ramos is currently completing her MBA at The George Washington University, having previously earned her Master of Arts from Washington University in Saint Louis. Originally from Brazil, Ms. Ramos is SHRM-SCP certified. In 2019, she was selected as a Fellow by the University of Miami Office of Education Innovation and Academic Technologies to join a university-wide committee on curriculum innovation.
